The stair platform lift is an inclined lift designed for safely raising and lowering people in wheelchairs along a staircase. The platform moves along strong rails beside the stairs; when not in use, it folds and presses against the wall, so others can use the stairs freely.
The lift has a wide non-slip platform, raising/lowering guard panels and a safety barrier — ensuring the wheelchair is held in place during movement. The platform edges have automatically raising ramps (for entry and exit). Control is via bright coloured buttons (green/yellow/red), an emergency stop button and a key; a separate control post is also included.
The structure is made of stainless steel, so it is strong, corrosion-resistant and long-lasting. The lift can be installed on both indoor and outdoor staircases and is made to the size of each staircase.
The platform lift is manufactured in accordance with the standards for adapting the environment for people with disabilities (compliant with O'z DSt / SP 59). Such a device is installed in government institutions, educational and medical institutions, shopping centres and facilities such as metro/bus stations to fully adapt the environment for the disabled.
This lift is the best solution for steep stairs where it is not possible to install a ramp. It allows every person to use all floors of a building independently and with dignity.
