Description

The fold-down two-track ramp (painted steel) is an economical and wear-resistant solution for narrow steps that folds to the wall. It consists of two parallel steel tracks along which the wheelchair wheels move. When the ramp is not in use, the tracks fold up to the wall and are secured with a hook — leaving the step completely free for pedestrians.

The tracks are made of strong steel and coated with black powder paint. This coating protects against corrosion, withstands mechanical impacts and endures intensive (daily) use. Steel is heavier than aluminium but cheaper and extremely strong — so it is ideal for entrances and public facilities with heavy footfall.

The structure is attached to the top of the step via a hinge, with a hook on the wall holding the folded position. The track surface is made non-slip. The distance between the tracks is adjusted to the standard wheelbase of a wheelchair; the length is chosen by the number of steps. An attendant is recommended during use.

The product is made and installed to fit existing steps. It is designed in accordance with the standards for adapting the environment for people with disabilities.

The painted steel fold-down ramp is the right choice for those seeking economy and strength. At an affordable price it makes a step convenient for the disabled and people with strollers. When ordering, specify the number and width of the steps.
